Local May Day Rally & March

Local May Day Rally & March

Across the country, workers, students, families, and organizations are gearing up to make this May Day a coordinated show of force under one clear banner: Workers Over Billionaires.

Corporations and billionaires have rigged the rules, hoarded the wealth our labor creates, and reshaped the economy so working people carry the cost. When the deal is broken, we don’t continue business as usual.

That’s why May 1, 2026, will be a national day of action. We will say: No School. No Work. No Shopping.

The May Day coalition's demands are clear:

  • Tax the rich so our families, not their fortunes, come first.

  • No ICE. No War. No private armies to serve authoritarian power

  • Expand democracy, not corporate power. Defend free and fair elections.

Learn more about the May Day Coalition at maydaystrong.org and stay tuned for possible D2 action in the works!

ICE Out for Good - Portland, OR - MN Solidarity Day of Action

ICE Out for Good - Portland, OR - MN Solidarity Day of Action

We will be holding signs and handing out fliers to send a message to Hilton to STOP HOUSING ICE.

A broad coalition of groups across the country is calling for a coordinated Ice Out For Good actions on Friday, January 23rd in solidarity for Minnesota, and to demand accountability, honor the life lost, and make visible the human cost of ICE’s actions.

Hilton has continued to house ICE agents during their reign of terror in Minneapolis. That makes Hilton a key corporate partner in enabling ICE to function, and allows them to profit off the suffering of the entire Minnesota community. If we can push Hilton to drop their contract with ICE, we can remove a key pillar of support from ICE operations – and show other hotels what happens when you're complicit with ICE.

A core principle behind all ICE Out For Good events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience.

Join us to learn about Strategic Defiance & Non-Cooperation. You'll come away with ideas, tools and resources to share with your own group, community, neighborhood.

Millions Rise - regular folks like you and me are building a powerful national opposition network as we connect with each other in local non-violent organizing and non-cooperation actions.

This is empowering, uplifting information and we'll train you to share it with friends and neighbors so you can host actions and gatherings with your own community.

All is NOT lost! There is an essential role for each of us to play and together we will prevail.

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER: A Day Without An Immigrant

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER: A Day Without An Immigrant

An invitation from our friends at PCUN, Latino Network, Oregon for All, and fellow Indivisibles in East County:

Immigrant Oregonians are the backbone of our economy, enrich our communities, and make Oregon a more vibrant place for all of us. And even with our sanctuary laws, ICE has cruelly and violently separated hundreds of families, more every single week.

Thursday, December 18, is International Migrants Day, and Latino Network, along with PCUN and Oregon For All, are taking this opportunity to kick off A Day Without An Immigrant. We will be taking the day off from work, from school and from buying anything. We are withholding our labor and our dollars. Allies who cannot participate – can help by buying nothing, sharing out the message, and supporting affected families.

In the Portland area on Dec 18th, we're demonstrating out in front of Home Depot in Gresham. With more than 2,300 North American stores, Home Depot has stayed silent as numerous immigration arrests are taking place in its stores and parking lots all across the country.

We’ll have signs (or bring your own), chants, drums, and kazoos. See you there!
